Select whether the installation is for a single-family home, business, multi-unit residential building or fleet depot.

Total number of charging units you plan to install at the site.

Choose the charger power class. Level and power influence equipment and installation cost.

Average rated charger power in kW (used to estimate electrical work and demand). For Level 2 typical values: 3.6–11 kW. For DC fast chargers, enter rated kW.

Indicate if a main electrical panel upgrade or service increase is required. Panel upgrades significantly raise installation cost.

Approximate distance from proposed charger location to the electrical service or transformer in meters. Longer runs increase wiring and labor costs.

Potential rebates / incentives

Select any rebate or incentive programs that may apply. Multiple selections allowed; these will be applied to reduce net cost.

Enter a known permit fee total if you have it. If left blank, the calculator uses a regional average for permit and inspection fees.
